Science Outreach Activities on Summer Science Camp has reported. This camp helps the promotion of science education around KANSAI. The camp has both seminars and experiments, which was widely announced by JST home-page since 2007.

The Kansai Photon Science Institute and Kids' Science Museum of Photons have cooperatively been promoted the planning, management, and effect evaluation about the energy and environmental education activity which cooperated with the local government administration and educational institution. The Science Festivals for the low grade students and general, with the participant of 7,000 total for six years, have grown up to be one of local reginal events. Moreover, constant degree of understanding can be also obtained by the dispatch lectures to the local junior high school with several hundred students, which take in the trial examination of the advanced theme setting, promotion of an understanding, and introduction of attractive teaching devices.

Various kinds of teacher training seminars on the themes of the energy and particle, the life and the earth etc., have been carried out on the basis of cooperation with the board of education of the local government by the Kansai Photon Science Institute, in cooperation with the Kids' Science Museum of Photons of the Japan Atomic Energy Agency. The contents of training programs consist of (1) outreach activity types, which contain the introduction of state-of-the-art research, (2) practice experience types based on experimental training, (3) teaching-materials development types aiming at the teaching-materials development which can become applicable at the school spot, and further (4) edutainment types which make the pleasure of a science experimental experience, and those types are coped with according to requests from the board of education of each local government.

Teacher-training programs in corporation with the local Board of Education have been continuously conducted since 2006 by the Kansai Photon Science Institute and Kids' Science Museum of Photons. The obtained results of effect evaluation were summarized on governing key factor. Recently, sufficient degree of effects have been obtained as a regional cooperation project with sustainable activities, from a view point of lectures based on the science-show and the development of the teaching materials.
